This is fascinating. Chelsea's Matthew Harding End are jeering the players for their slow playing out from the back style.

Goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has been just standing on the ball for periods of 10 to 30 seconds on multiple occasions but that style is not in keeping with this club's culture or history.

It might be creating a slightly jittery feeling among Chelsea's backline as they have given the ball away a few times and Southampton have arguably been the better team.

Wolves get a free-kick just outside the penalty area, but it is a waste from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, shooting into the wall with attempt one and then straight at Bernd Leno with the follow-up shot.

Eberechi Eze's effort goes through the wall, hits one of his own players and bounces out for a goal kick.

It wasn't the best of corners but it is crucial that Chelsea win the first contact, there is a flick on to the far post and Christopher Nkunku is the quickest to react.

Aston Villa have now gone to a back four for the second half. The change of system wasn't working for them.

Rodrigo Muniz's goal was his fifth in the league this season, while Adama Traore collected his fifth assist.

Matheus Cunha looks to make it 2-2. He gets in between two Fulham defenders and fires powerfully at goal, but the ball flies wide of goal.

Crystal Palace's corner bounces around the Aston Villa box and eventually find Eberechi Eze on the edge but he can't direct his half-volley on target. Would've been some goal!

It has been an interesting watch.

This is certainly a Chelsea side that are undecided. They want to play out from the back but when they have the ball in the back line there is very little movement ahead of them.

They are trying to play in tight areas and Southampton aren't too far away from winning it back in a dangerous area. Paul Onuachu is a big boy and he has been creating plenty of problems early on.

First attempt on goal from Cole Palmer and he's not connected well at all. Southampton won't want to be giving him too many of them, though.
