Ryan Sessegnon scored after just 58 seconds, the fastest goal for Fulham in the Premier League this season.

But the Cottagers' lead only lasted until the 18th minute when Joao Gomes fired home a loose ball into the roof of the net. Both sides will fancy the three points, but it's 1-1 at the break.

There is no doubt that all the Chelsea supporters, including the vocal minority that protested the ownership before kick-off, expect a victory against bottom-placed Southampton.

That stance in itself brings pressure on Chelsea amid a run of just two wins in 10 matches.

The Blues may be just four points behind third-placed Nottingham Forest but discontent is growing after they dropped to seventh place and only three points above 10th place Brighton before tonight's matches kicked off.

Wolves will move eight points clear of the relegation zone if they beat Fulham and have just had three chances in quick succession. But Matheus Cunha has twice had shots saved by Bernd Leno, with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde also firing off target when well placed.

Just as Palace miss a chance at one end, Villa equalise down the other.

All the Palace defenders stood and watched as Morgan Rogers sidefooted it into the back of the net. Pace and precision and Villa are level.
