    Manchester United win a corner.

I think the general consensus from you guys is that this is on the players not the manager.

Man united fan here. We can talk about systems, formations and tactics all day. Doesn't mean a thing if you can't do the fundamentals: run, tackle, close down, pass quickly to teammates. Must drive Amorim mad. I know it's driving me mad.

Everton are passing it around the back. Manchester United look genuinely scared to press them.

Ipswich at home on Wednesday is suddenly HUGE.

Chants of "attack, attack, attack attack attack" from the travelling United supporters.

Their side are yet to work Jordan Pickford in this game.

Yeah, maybe I didn't quite emphasise Maguire's role during Everton's second.

The United defender was way too relaxed after Onana's save and was easily outjumped by Doucoure.

United win themselves a wide free-kick but it's cleared away.

I like Harry Maguire, he gets a lot of unfair criticism…but yikes, that was poor for the second goal.

Once the ball comes into Beto, he has got to hit it first time with his right foot.

Again Everton easily pass the ball around United's midfield and suddenly they're in.

Beto can't get the ball out of his feet when he receives it in the box. United are spared.

"What have I just witnessed…" says former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on social media.

The Everton players are first to every tackle, pass and loose ball.

Vitalii Mykolenko is OK to continue.

Everton are very happy for Manchester United to have the ball. To be honest Everton look most like scoring when United have it on the edge of their own box.

    Everton 2-0 Man Utd

What will worry Ruben Amorim, maybe even more than his side's defending today, is just how toothless United look going forward.

A simple shot corner routine is messed up as three different United players all under-hit five-yard passes.

Break in play as some Everton physios look at Vitalii Mykolenko's ankle.

Goodison Park looks at its very best by the way. Sun-kissed and bouncing. We'll miss it when it's gone.

Some people might look at it as scrappy, but I look at it as a thing of beauty.

Boy, oh boy, if you want anybody to continue their run and gamble, we got it. Everything about the goal is beautiful. That's fabulous.

Abdoulaye Doucoure doesn't stand and look around applauding it, he keeps on the move and gets his reward.

    Totally dominant.

A brilliant pass sends Beto clear down the right and suddenly it's only Harry Maguire against three. Beto tees up Jack Harrison whose shot is beaten up into the air by Andre Onana, and then Abdoulaye Doucoure outjumps Maguire for an easy finish.

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Everton 1-0 Man Utd

Back to the action and United push down the left through Patrick Dorgu who wins them a corner, which is then easily cleared.

The Reds are getting a lot of short passes in, but not really getting anywhere.
