    Huge chance!

A great move from Manchester United as Patrick Dorgu cuts the ball back to Rasmus Hojlund whose toe-poke is kept out by Jordan Pickford.

Pickford and Hojlund come together and the keeper grimaces after grazing his knee.

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

The game almost opens up for Manchester United as Joshua Zirkzee leads a counter but Everton get enough players back.

I think it's Bruno Fernandes who eventually gives the ball away.

They'll probably go on to score a hatful now I've said that.

Manchester United are playing like a team who have zero confidence.

It's as simple as that really.

This is just the start David Moyes will have been hoping for from his side - high press with high energy.

The Toffees are getting into the faces of the Manchester United players, who have not got going yet.

Another lapse in concentration at the back sees Partick Dorgu put under pressure and the Dane has to concede a cheap corner.

Nothing comes of it, but, interestingly, that low sun is shining right in Andre Onana's face. He looked a bit sheepish as the cross was whipped in.

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester United lose possession on the edge of the penalty area and Everton almost punish them as a cross is fizzed in to Beto who heads an effort straight at Andre Onana.

Noussair Mazraoui is able to continue. Not much happening so far. But still early days.

Ruben Amorim's hoodie looks really good. Reminds me of the Adidas kits from Italia 90.

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Both managers have gone for the casual look on the touchline - home boss David Moyes is donned in a black sweater, while counterpart Ruben Amorim has gone for a rather retro-looking hoodie.

Everton win themselves an early wide free-kick, but, as it's crossed in to the middle, James Tarkowski is penalised for a foul on Noussair Mazraoui.

He's currently getting some treatment to his knee.

The two teams were met with a tremendous wall of noise as they walked out onto the pitch before kick-off.

Let's hope the energy from the stands matches the action on the pitch.

Everton have a better balance. In the Sean Dyche regime they were very pragmatic and Beto was isolated for large parts of the game.

  20. Moyes has given Everton 'confidence'published at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

Everton v Man Utd (12:30 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender on Football Focus

David Moyes has given Everton a clear idea of how they want to play.

Idrissa Gueye looks revitalised, he's now a box-to-box midfielder. Beto has simplified his game.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is instil that confidence, but Moyes has been able to do that.
