  1. 'Delighted for the players and fans'published at 18:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Arsenal 0-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham boss Graham Potter speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Massive performance for us. Delighted for the players and the fans. Tactically very disciplined performance. Really good."

On Jarrod Bowen and the team as a whole: "Jarrod [Bowen] and Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] and Mo [Kudus] give us a counter-attacking threat. We defended with discipline and resilience but we carry an attacking threat as well. The win brings confidence and belief. This result is really big for us and hopefully, it allows us to move forward in a positive way."

On Myles Lewis Skelly's red card for fouling Mohammed Kudus: "From where I saw it, I thought it was a red card and Mo would have been away and 1v1 with the keeper so it would have been a tricky one for the referee not to give it."

  2. 'We want to finish the season strong'published at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Ipswich 1-4 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "You have to work hard. Ipswich are one of the hardest working teams in the league.

"Those aspects of the game which are difficult to deal with - we handled it better in the second half rather than the first half.

"We had to be strong in our duels and that allowed us to hurt them going the other way.

"They're at home, they had a strong performance and got a point against Villa, which is not an easy place.

"I thought we were always a threat. Sonny [Son] was unplayable in the first half and it is great to get Brennan [Johnson] back scoring goals.

"I thought the quality of our goals was really up there."

On returning players: "It is exciting for us. We can just manage this next period and get more bodies back.

"We want to finish the season strong.

"The ability to rest players and change the team and not affect the level of performance. It leaves us in a decent space to kick on."

  3. 'Cunha is the special player that can give us these moments of magic'published at 18:35 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Bournemouth 0-1 Wolves

    Wolves

Wolves boss Vítor Pereira, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I am very happy because I saw on the pitch the true spirit of a team. It is not easy to play here because they are a good team and they create a lot of problems. In the first minutes we had some problems but after this we started to be compact and control the game and in the end we deserved the result.

"Sometimes we think with one more player we can lose positions, we can lose the balance and this is dangerous but we kept the balance and we felt in the moment we scored and stayed compact and had three of four situations to score the second goal. It was a result we deserved.

"The team ran and worked together and it is a good result."

On Matheus Cunha: "We need players to work a lot, fight and run and also players inside the pitch that can in a situation, technically decide a game. Cunha is this special player that can give us these moments of magic."

  4. 'Villa came back strong'published at 18:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    HT: Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Villa did not start the game well and at one point after the opening goal Chelsea had a few good chances and you thought that Villa had to wake up a bit.

To be fair to them they came back strong.

    Mike, we have our answer.

The last full weekend (all teams playing) to see no home wins in the Premier League was 23 and 24 September 2000.

The last Saturday (minimum seven games) to see no home wins in the Premier League was 7 April 2018 (that featured eight games).

  6. 'We want points on the board not performances'published at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Ipswich 1-4 Tottenham

    Ipswich Town

Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna, speaking to Sky Sports: "We started well. We had so many good opportunities. Millimeters again from taking the lead.

"If we get the first goal we are able to defend well and defend with stability. It is frustrating for us, a first half performance which we should have the lead.

"The quality of their execution. When they got their moments contrast to the other end wasn't good enough - that was the difference.

"The response was pretty good. They managed the disappointment of the two goals pretty good.

"We got a good goal back and went in at half-time with good confidence. I thought we were right there until they got the third.

"We had some good opportunities around the box, but we weren't able to produce the quality.

"Of course, it is frustrating the margins have been small. Especially in the home games, we could have had a lot more points on the board - it is, what it is.

"The margins are small and if you don't execute it right the quality of the team will punish you.

"The group is improving. But, of course, it's getting to the latter stages of the season and we want points on the board not performances."

  7. 'The consequences are too harsh'published at 18:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Bournemouth 0-1 Wolves

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, speaking to Sky Sports: "It is very difficult with 10 men but we did a great effort. we kind of levelled the game 11 versus 10, we pushed them, put them under pressure but we did not have the reward. I am very proud of my players."

On Illia Zabarnyi's red card: "No. If the referee shows the red card live, I say, 'okay' but the VAR, clear and obvious...? If they put it on normal speed we have a chance and if they put it from five angles we have a chance, but if they slow the speed and put the worst angle on obviously the decision is very easy.

"Zabarnyi has a clear action going for the ball but on the floor his foot slips and he is now going to lose almost four games because of this. Do you want us to tell players not to go for balls like that because you could lose four games in a month? I think the consequences are too harsh. Clearly everyone who has played football will see it as that."

  8. 'The decision has been made, let's move on'published at 18:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Arsenal 0-1 West Ham

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to Sky Sports: "We started the game and we never got a grip of it. We didn't generate a threat or momentum. They have the quality to deliver those moments and after that, it becomes a difficult game. We got the red card and that was another big mountain to climb and we tried to react but we didn't have enough quality moments to unlock things at the back. Credit to West Ham, they were really aggressive in their duels."

On Myles Lewis Skelly's red card: "I don't know, I haven't seen it back. The decision has been made, it's done. Let's move on."

"It is painful but this is sport. We need to feel the pain today, I think we deserve that."

  10. 'If half finished 1-1 then we would have said fair enough'published at 18:26 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    HT: Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a thoroughly enjoyable game, both teams have been on the front foot.

Villa are still in it, they have been right in it since the first ten minutes. They created some chances and could have been level.

It is a good scoreline for Chelsea but Villa are by no means out of it. If the half had finished 1-1 we probably would have said 'fair enough'.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Villa will have the chance to send a free-kick into the Chelsea box with time nearly up. Chelsea head clear, and with the seconds ticking down John McGinn fires over from outside the box.

That's all for a very entertaining first half.

A lovely pass out wide by Morgan Rogers sets Ian Maatsen away and starts Villa's latest attack, but Chelsea are back defending in numbers now as they look to avoid undoing their good work in this first half.

Maybe there has just been a quiet word from the touchline, as Chelsea have now slowed things down a bit.

  16. 'Martinez good at being proactive'published at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

At times I can be pretty harsh on keepers but looking at Emi Martinez there he does really well to leap forward and claim the ball.

If he hadn't come out to take that it was a tap in for Cole Palmer.

One of the things he is really good at is being proactive and making those interceptions.

  17. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Emiliano Martinez does well to intercept a cross with Cole Palmer waiting to pounce, before Filip Jorgensen gratefully gathers at the opposite end as Villa launch another quick attack.

No hint of Chelsea looking to just protect their lead before the break here.

  18. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Matty Cash is back up and is escorted over to the touchline. He looks OK.

We're going to have six added minutes at the end of the first half.

  19. 'A sore one'published at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Matty Cash gets there just before Marc Cucurella, who doesn't properly jump, and after winning the header he sort of half lands on his neck and head. It's a sore one.

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Matty Cash is down and in some pain here after going up for a header and having his legs taken out from beneath him by Marc Cucurella.

It's not great from Cucurella, who is never getting near the ball. That's a heavy fall for the Villa defender.
