  1. 'Jimenez looks sharp'published at 17:23 British Summer Time

    Everton v Fulham (17:30 BST)

    Rachel Corsie
    Scotland captain on BBC One

The specific injury was very serious but also I imagine very scary. It hits you a little harder than the injuries you typically see.

That would have taken some time to get over. We did see a lot of good things fairly quickly in Jimenez's recovery. I think this season we are starting to see that creativity and sharpness.

  2. 'Everton look to be in a better place'published at 17:22 British Summer Time

    Everton v Fulham (17:30 BST)

    James McFadden
Former Everton forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

Everton have picked up. The two games when they were 2-0 up and lost, you started to think is there an issue with confidence?

You have to come through tough times and they look to be in a better place at the moment.

  3. 'We've lost in a way we can be proud of'published at 17:21 British Summer Time

    FT: Man City 1-0 Southampton

    Southampton

Southampton boss Russell Martin speaking to BBC MOTD:

"Proud of them. The courage they had and the build-up was incredible. We had some big moments so proud of that as well.

"We had more [chances] than most I think coming here. The level of courage and intensity to run and play football in our way was incredible. We'll take a lot of belief from today. Not just the defending. The character after going 1-0 down early and the character to play in the way we want to. If we're going to lose at least do it in the way that we can be proud of."

On Man City goal: "The gap for Erling Haaland is too big. We worked on trying not to leave him one-v-one too often in the box but he's the best in the business at that."

Feel confident of points going forward: "I see enough with discipline and mentality, the lads believe in what they do. We have to maintain that. We should have more points on the board and we have to keep working in our way. Today we were more us than we have been in a long time and if we carry that forward we'll be fine.

"We defended well today with the ball and we need to be brave doing that."

  4. 'Emile Smith-Rowe central to what Fulham do'published at 17:20 British Summer Time

    Everton v Fulham (17:30 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on Football Focus

When Mikel Arteta first came in at Arsenal Emile Smith-Rowe was instrumental, he was given the number 10 shirt and he earned two or three England caps. But then Martin Odegaard came in and it is all about timing.

At Fuham you can now see the player that is there. They have so many attacking players but he is central to what they do.

  5. 'Dyche wants Everton to be horrible to play against'published at 17:19 British Summer Time

    Everton v Fulham (17:30 BST)

    James McFadden
Former Everton forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

The manager's job is to get the most out of the team and Dyche wants Everton to run more and be that team that is horrible to play against.

Even if you are the top of the stats, can you run more? Can you eke a little bit more out of the players?

  6. 'We showed big character today'published at 17:18 British Summer Time

    FT: Brentford 4-3 Ipswich

    Brentford

Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo speaking to PLP: "I know this type of cross can be dangerous, either a flick or no one touches it, and the keeper has doubt. In the end it was a goal and it was a really important win today.

"They gave it their all in defence [with ten men], so it was really hard to find the gaps. It is not always easy but I think we showed big character today.

On going two goals down: "They defended really well and they were really good on the couter attack as well. We knew we had to stay in the game no matter what and that is what we did. We always try to stay together, stick to the plan, and we know we have the quality to get back and that is what we tried to show.

On if complacency let Ipswich back in it: "Maybe [there was] a lack of focus, but we need to enjoy this kind of win."

On Brentford's good home record: "It is really important to stay unbeaten at home and make it tough for the opponents to come here. We are going to try to continue to do it"

  7. Brighton's big chance wastedpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time

    FT: Brighton 2-2 Wolves

    Chris Wise
BBC Radio 5 Live reporter at Selhurst Park

Not sure if Fabian Hurzeler will mention this in his post match interview, but Brighton wasted a FOUR on one situation seconds before the Cunha equaliser. It’s remarkable that they squandered the chance, let alone that it then led to them losing their lead.

  8. 'I wouldn't be surprised if either side won it'published at 17:17 British Summer Time

    Everton v Fulham (17:30 BST)

    .

I don't like to mention that I said Everton would be fine, but I did.

After losing their first four games of the season, Sean Dyche's side are now unbeaten in their past four and climbing the table.

They are playing like a Dyche team too - hardworking and streetwise, but with a bit of quality too. Dwight McNeil is having an exceptional season.

This is a test for them because Fulham are one of those teams who can beat anyone on their day. They have lost their past two games, against Manchester City and Aston Villa, but they had good spells in both matches.

I wouldn't be surprised if either side won it, which is why I am going in the middle with my prediction.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

  9. Postpublished at 17:16 British Summer Time

One more game to go in the Premier League today and it is Everton versus Fulham.

  10. 'One of the best games you're likely to see this season'published at 17:15 British Summer Time

    FT: Brentford 4-3 Ipswich

    Lee Blakeman
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live

The party has started after one of the best games you are likely to see all season.

At the end of all of that, Brentford are still unbeaten all season.

For Ipswich, the reality is that they have played nine and won none.

  11. 'A comeback that could spark a resurgence'published at 17:11 British Summer Time

    FT: Brighton 2-2 Wolves

    Chris Wise
BBC Final Score at Amex Stadium

Wolves still winless, but this is the sort of comeback that can spark a resurgence.

They were threatening an equaliser before Brighton went 2-0 up, so I’d say Gary O’Neil’s team deserve their point, however unlikely it seemed at that stage.

    Some serious character on show.

  12. Postpublished at 17:09 British Summer Time

    FT: Brentford 4-3 Ipswich

Absolute scenes at Brentford as the players dance and celebrate with their fans. That win puts them up to ninth.

A game they might've expected to win but one that was hard work and to win it like that, brilliant scenes.

  13. 'Southampton deserve a lot more points'published at 17:09 British Summer Time

    FT: Manchester City 1-0 Southampton

    Manchester City

Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva speaking to Sky Sports after their 1-0 win against Southampton: "We have a lot of respect for all the teams in the Premier League. These guys we played today, I watched the games they played in the season and I think they deserve a lot more points than what they’ve got.

"They press high, they try to build up with the ball. It makes it very difficult to press them because if you go man-to-man in the middle then it’s not easy for our defenders. Tough game for us but very happy with the three points.

"We’re used to that when teams defend deep against us which makes it more difficult, we have to be patient. We are used to that. We had our chances to score three or four goals to make it, but they deserve a lot of credit for what they did here today."

  15. 'Heartbreak for Ipswich, joy for Brentford'published at 17:04 British Summer Time

    FT: Brentford 4-3 Ipswich

    Mark Scott
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at GTech Community Stadium

Watch it. Drink it in. You will not see another afternoon like this on Final Score! Bryan Mbuemo has surely won it, a cross from just outside the area, he was looking for someone at the far stick and it doesn't take a touch off anyone. Arijanet Muric is beaten. Ipswich are on their knees. Heartbreak for Ipswich, joy for Brentford.

    Brentford 4-3 Ipswich

    Aaaand breathe. What a game.

Ipswich were 2-0 up, that feels like a long time ago now. Then they trailed 3-2 for much of the second half and went down to 10 men. But Liam Delap pulled one back late on and it looked like they had salvaged a point.

But Bryan Mbeumo had other ideas and he wins it at the death for his side!

    Incredible scenes.
