  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:24 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton Town

The referee blows his whistle at the half-way point.

Plenty to talk about despite a lack of goals as Luton Town are down to ten men.

Do the Hatters now try and play for a draw in the second half or will they still believe they can win this game?

An intriguing second half to come.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Great chance for Leeds to go in front on the stroke of half-time!

Semi Ajayi fouls Wilfried Gnonto deep inside Albion territory and Ilia Gruev whips the free-kick onto the head of Pascal Struijk, but it deflects off Ajayi and behind.

West Brom definitely had the better of the first half, but they haven't managed to break Leeds down so far.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Kayden Jackson's goal on the quick break for Derby County is all that separates these two sides at half-time.

Middlesbrough will wonder how they haven't levelled, with Finn Azaz going close a few times in the first 30 minutes.

And just before the half-time whistle went, Isaiah Jones was also kept out by Derby goalkeeper Josh Vickers.

This game remains very much in the balance.

  4. Postpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

We have ticked into stoppage time at the end of the first half at Pride Park.

Five minutes is shown on the fourth official's board, which actually doesn't seem like much considering the two injury substitutions and goal we have had in this one.

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    Daniel FarkeImage source, PA Media

Daniel Farke won't be too disappointed with his side's performance as we approach half-time.

Leeds have had to absorb plenty of Baggies possession but they've dealt with it well and Illan Meslier hasn't had a save to make.

With Leeds' attacking capability, they'll be confident of creating a chance or two at some stage if they can keep it at 0-0.

  6. 'Who else but Michael Cheek?'published at 13:14 British Summer Time 17 August

    Bromley 1-0 AFC Wimbledon

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at Hayes Lane

Bromley are up and running at Hayes Lane and who else could it be than Michael Cheek?

Their main man up front has had a quiet afternoon but sprung into life to lay the ball off for Corey Whitely, before being played in behind by the midfielder and coolly finishing into the bottom corner for his second goal of the season.

A lovely move and a confident finish from a player who looks like he could score a lot of goals in League Two.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton Town

Just catching up after the Luton Town red card.

James Shea replaced Carlton Morris as they reshuffled after going a man down.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton Town

Portsmouth fans and players appeal for a penalty.

The home side whip in a corner and Conor Shaughnessy goes down in the box when trying to shoot.

The referee not feeling it is enough to award a spot kick and we carry on.

  9. League One and League Two updatepublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 17 August

Shrewsbury are first to get themselves on the scoresheet in League One but they were not ahead for long...

Salop captain Carl Winchester puts his side in front with his first goal for the club, a fine half-volley from distance, but Peterborough midfielder Kwame Poku doesn't let them celebrate for long with a shot into the bottom corner of the net to bring them level at 1-1.

Meanwhile the other three League One and Two early kick-offs are all still without goal action - for now.

  10. Postpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton

    Andy Moon
    BBC Radio Solent's Portsmouth commentator

    That is good refereeing.

It is clearly a foul by the Luton keeper Thomas Kaminski.

  11. Postpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Carlos Corberan's side are really getting on top, although they are yet to create any clear chances other than that opportunity for Kyle Bartley.

Tom Fellows has switched with Karlan Grant and is now operating down the left, with the aim of putting Jayden Bogle under pressure after his yellow card.

On the subject of bookings, it's one apiece now after John Swift hauled down Leeds striker Mateo Joseph.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:03 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Finn Azaz will be wondering how he hasn't equalised for Middlesbrough yet.

He has just been denied by Josh Vickers, having gone close a few times in the first half hour for Boro.

  13. Postpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Malcolm Christie
Former Derby and Middlesbrough striker on BBC Radio Derby

Derby need to get hold of Middlesbrough's forward players who have been a real threat and in the last few minutes have been in the ascendancy.

  14. RED CARDpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton Town

Thomas Kaminski is shown a second yellow card, Luton down to ten men!

The Luton keeper comes out of his box to try and beat Pompey's Paddy Lane for the ball, he then attempts to prevent Connor Ogilvie from shooting but is second to the ball and goes through the player.

Kaminski tried to plead his innocence but is eventually lead back down the tunnel after being shown the red card.

  15. Postpublished at 13:02 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Here's the goal that separates the teams at Pride Park.

Kayden Jackson's effort is the only goal across the opening half-hour of the three early kick-offs in the Championship.

  16. Postpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

All of Middlesbrough's big chances so far have come in pairs, it seems.

First Finn Azaz lets rip from distance and sees the effort go just wide, then a fizzed ball across goal from Aiden Morris is deflected to safety by a Derby defender

  17. CLOSE!published at 12:59 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton Town

Portsmouth respond with a decent effort of their own.

Sam Silvera cuts inside and curls an effort that Luton keeper Thomas Kaminski saves well, Paddy Lane then picks up the ball and fires a shot which goes out for a goal kick.

  18. Postpublished at 12:58 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Derby are a goal up, sure, but they are having a devil of a time of it right now.

They have been forced into a second change, with Kane Wilson going down injured. On comes Ryan Nyambe.

  19. Postpublished at 12:58 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

West Brom have taken the game to Leeds so far.

But they just can't quite find that goal, at the moment.

    Two well disciplined teams here.

  20. CLOSE!published at 12:58 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Leeds full-back Jayden Bogle is the first recipient of a card as he bundles the pacy Tom Fellows over just outside the penalty area.

The free-kick is floated to the back post, eluding Illan Meslier and the ball lands on a plate for Kyle Bartley - but the centre-back is slow to react and it just bounces off his body and behind. Good chance for Albion.
