  1. League One and Two updatepublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 17 August

It's still a stalemate for Charlton against Leyton Orient in League One but for Shrewsbury Town and Peterborough, there's another meeting with the back of the net.

It's midfielder Kwane Poku again for the Posh with a whipped strike into the top-corner from the back edge of the box to take his side 2-1 up in Shropshire.

Over in League Two, Bromley push themselves further towards their first EFL home win as forward Corey Whitely gets the finish after a nice run from defender Danny Imray to put themselves 2-1 up against AFC Wimbledon, while Carlisle retain their 1-0 lead against Barrow.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have done absolutely everything but score in the first 69 minutes of this game.

This time Delano Burgzorg sees a deflected shot come back off the post!

Talk about an afternoon of frustration!

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Leeds have made the first substitutions of the game and it's a double change, with Joel Piroe and Dan James going off and Joe Rothwell and Brenden Aaronson taking their places.

Aaronson grabbed that late, late equaliser for Leeds last week - could the American midfielder come up trumps (or Trumps maybe) for the visitors again?

West Brom might have gone ahead almost immediately after those substitutions, with Jayson Molumby teeing up Karlan Grant for a drive that fizzed wide.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 17 August

And now Middlesbrough think they have levelled, only for the goal to be ruled out.

Delano Burgzorg headed past Rams goalkeeper Josh Vickers, but the flag was up for offside.

  5. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton

Portsmouth captain Marlon Pack plays a set-piece short to Paddy Lane, whose effort flashes past the post.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:57 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Derby County goalkeeper Josh Vickers has come up with another fine save for the hosts.

This time tips a stinging effort from Hayden Hackney over the bar.

  7. Postpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are racking up the chances, but failing time and again to put them away.

Aidan Morris dragged an effort wide, then Finn Azaz was off target on the turn before Aidan Morris has a shot blocked on the hour.

  8. Postpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

We're almost at the hour mark in this one - who's going to force the pace and take the initiative to try and turn one point into three?

The game is starting to open up a bit more and John Swift set up Jayson Molumby for a drive that he thumped straight at Illan Meslier.

Leeds have begun to threaten too, with Joel Piroe narrowly failing to get on the end of a Daniel James cutback.

  9. Postpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees Middlesbrough commentator

The Middlesbrough threat is definitely growing.

Derby fans are urging their players to get out and up the pitch.

But they are penned in right now.

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    Jon Newsome
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

I just want Leeds to settle down a bit.

When we get possession, just settle.

At the moment West Brom are hunting us down and that is why we are going sideways and backwards.

  11. Postpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlesbrough

Both sides have had chances to start the second half.

First, Derby's Ben Osborn has an effort blocked then at the other end Emmanuel Latte Lath has a header flash wide.

  12. Postpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Early break for West Brom at the start of this second half, but Torbjorn Heggem's cross is deflected behind and the corner comes out to Alex Mowatt, whose ambitious drive is charged down.

Again, Leeds are looking more solid defensively and we still await the opening goal.

  13. Second half kick-offpublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 17 August

And off we go again in a number of the early kick-offs.

Michael Cheek's goal for Bromley is the only thing separating these two after a cagey first half.

Corey Whitely went close to giving the hosts the perfect start, forcing a good save from Wimbledon keeper Owen Goodman.

The Dons caused Bromley's backline problems, with Matty Stevens looking particularly lively in the first half.

James Ball's neat piece of skill and deflected cross flashed all the way across goal as Wimbledon threatened a breakthrough of their own.

But it's Bromley who lead at the break in their first ever EFL match at Hayes Lane.

  15. Championship 3pm fixturespublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 17 August

We are only just halfway through these early Championship games, and we still have plenty more to come.

Meanwhile Plymouth Argyle boss Wayne Rooney has only won two of his last 16 Championship games and will be hoping to improve his victory tally as the side host Tim Walter's Hull City.

    • Bristol City v Millwall
    • Plymouth Argyle v Hull City
    • Swansea v Preston
    • Watford v Stoke City
    • Sheffield United v QPR

    • Burnley v Cardiff City
  16. 'Cancelling each other out'published at 13:30 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at The Hawthorns

It was a terrific atmosphere at The Hawthorns at kick-off time for Albion’s first home game of the season.

But it has all since become a bit becalmed.

Just a case of two well-organised, highly competitive teams both cancelling each other out.

And really there has been a lot more sound defending than imaginative attacking.

In fact, the brightest thing on show has been Albion midfielder John Swift’s peroxide barnet.

  17. Postpublished at 13:26 British Summer Time 17 August

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    Steve Hermon
West Brom commentator on BBC Radio WM

It has been an intriguing first half.

However there have been no clear cut chances for either side.

  18. Postpublished at 13:26 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portsmouth 0-0 Luton

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

It has been a good game.

Portsmouth perhaps getting the better chances toward the end of the half.

    Certainly entertaining.

  19. Postpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 17 August

    Derby 1-0 Middlebrough

    Malcolm Christie
Former Derby and Middlesbrough striker on BBC Radio Derby

From Derby's perspective, it has been a tough watch at times.

But each and every player has been giving it everything, during that first half.

  20. League One and Two updatepublished at 13:24 British Summer Time 17 August

As it stands in Leagues One and Two, it's all ones and zeros.

Bromley forward Michael Cheek christened their glistening new pitch with a powerful strike from the box to put the side 1-0 up against AFC Wimbledon in League Two while midfielder Daniel Adu-Addei got Carlisle off to the races with a 1-0 start against Barrow.

In League One, Shrewsbury Town and Peterborough remains in the balance at 1-1 as Charlton and Leyton Orient end their first-half goalless.
