    Brighton 0-0 Ipswich

Some quick-tempo Brighton passing so nearly unlocks the Ipswich defence.

Yasin Ayari fires into Danny Welbeck, whose extravagant flick falls for Kaoru Mitoma - but the Japan winger takes a heavy touch and the chance is gone.

  2. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 1-1 Brentford

Erling Haaland had already set the record for scoring the most goals in a team's first three matches of a Premier League campaign with his seven goals.

Now, he has eight goals in four games which equals the record set by Wayne Rooney for Manchester United in 2011-12.

  3. 'Van Dijk marshalling at the back'published at 15:27 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

A high line from the Liverpool defence and Gibbs-White goes early. He was in on goal but he was just offside.

It was a good defensive line from Liverpool - Van Dijk was marshalling at the back.

  4. 'Haaland is phenomenal'published at 15:26 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 1-1 Brentford

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on Final Score

Erling Haaland is phenomenal, it's a fantatsic goal out of nothing.

He knows where the goal is no matter where he is in the box, he has his back to the goal and isn't looking at the goalkeeper.

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Alexis Mac AllisterImage source, Getty Images

What a ball! Alexis Mac Allister with the outside of his boot, lofting it to the back stick and Diogo Jota doesn't know whether to go with a volley or a header and sort of knees the ball straight at Matz Sels.

Michael Antonio has stayed a season too long at West Ham. He's off it these days. I can't see how he starts. I'd play Bowen up front and get Somerville on.

    Man City 1-1 Brentford

Just after that goal Brentford were on the attack again. It's not often you see sides go to the Etihad and ask serious questions of the Premier League champions but Thomas Frank's side are doing just that.

    Raul Jimenez (24 mins)

Fulham 1-0 West HamImage source, Getty Images

And Fulham do lead! Emile Smith Rowe chases a ball over the top, the Hammers step up for the offside but he was on. The former Arsenal man just keeps the ball in, looks up and tees up the fast-arriving Raul Jimenez in the middle and he slots in.

  9. 'Another Haaland hat-trick incoming?'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 1-1 Brentford

    Will Perry
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

A lovely move from City in the box and Haaland with a lovely finish into the top left corner.

Is there another Haaland hat-trick incoming?

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 14 September

    Fulham 0-0 West Ham

Fulham look really sharp right up until the final pass or shot - that's the Premier League for you I guess. Alex Iwobi does well on the left to stand up a cross which Adama Traore arrives on and heads/shoulders just wide...

  11. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 Leicesterpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 September

    Jamie Vardy (21 mins)

Just when Crystal Palace appeared to be getting on top, Leicester - and Jamie Vardy - strike.

Wilfred Ndidi has been a surprisingly good playmaker. His through ball brings Dean Henderson out of his goal but Vardy gets to the ball first, taking it round the keeper and knocking it into an empty net.

    The archetypal Vardy goal.

  12. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-1 Brentfordpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 September

    Erling Haaland (20 mins)

    Who else?

Erling Haaland has scored back-to-back hat-tricks in the Premier League and he's on the score sheet again with a floated finish into the corner after a good bit of work from Kevin de Bruyne.

The Norwegian striker has touched the ball twice so far and one of those has resulted in a goal.

  13. 'Bit of frustration from Liverpool'published at 15:20 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Liverpool are dominating possession. Forest are trying to play them at their own game and they keep giving away fouls which is ruining Liverpool's rhythm of play.

There is a little bit of frustration from Liverpool because of the way Forest have started, it's a really exciting game.

  14. 'Brilliant from Diaz'published at 15:20 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Diaz gives Matz Sels the eyes and it looked like it was going in.

Off the post and away to safety!

  15. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Anfield

The Liverpool fans enjoyed Luis Diaz's work there as he chased a lost cause before going close with that chance.

The noise levels went up for the next minute or so but it's gone a little bit quiet again.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Off the post! Luis Diaz has started the season so well and he nearly has Liverpool ahead, rolling his man in the corner, cutting inside and firing a shot against the base of the near post.

    So close!

  17. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 0-1 Brentford

Brentford remain the last side to beat Manchester City on their own turf.

The Bees beat City 2-1 in November 2022 thanks to a late, late Ivan Toney winner. City are unbeaten in 45 matches at the Etihad in all competitions since with 38 wins and seven draws.

Brentford did the double over Pep Guardiola's side that season with a 1-0 win at the Gtech Community Stadium in May 2023.

City had already won the Premier League title by that point, though.

  18. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 14 September

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leicester

Eddie Nketiah has his first sight of goal in a Crystal Palace shirt, after his £25m move from Arsenal.

He gets on the end of an Eberechi Eze cross but can't get a true connection with his head and doesn't test Mads Hermansen in the Leicester goal.

  19. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Yates is turning into quite the rivalry out there.

Yates left Mac Allister on the turf once and another time "helped" the Liverpool player to his feet when he wasn't ready to get up yet.

So the home fans didn't enjoy Mac Allister just getting penalised for a foul on the Forest man.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 14 September

    Fulham 0-0 West Ham

    Adama TraoreImage source, Getty Images

On your bike! Adama Traore wins a 50-50 on the halway line and he's away, good luck catching him! There are few other players you would want in that situation but sadly he's not the most composed man in front of goal is he?

He hesistates, Max Kilman makes a challenge and goes down...no foul.
