  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Crystal Palace

A change for Palace at the break as Cheick Doucoure, who was sitting on a yellow card, is swapped for Jefferson Lerma and we're back under way at Portman Road.

The King Power Stadium is strangely quiet at the moment. There's a bit of a lull. It's the West Ham fans who are making the most noise. I think the longer the game stays 1-0, Leicester fans will be tense.

  3. Postpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

West Ham have gone up a gear ever since Leicester's opener. Edson Alvarez has a shot blocked.

It does feel like West Ham need to go behind, or at least spend a good period with their backs against the wall defending, before they allow themselves to play their best football.

  4. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Vardy's finish was his 100th Premier League goal involvement at the King Power Stadium (73 goals, 27 assists).

Lopetegui is making Avram Grant look like Pep. Shambles.

    Rob from Sevenoaks

So long, Lopetegui. He might as well leave at half time.

    Jake, Kent.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORK - WEST HAMpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Inches away!

Leicester escape as Danny Ings meets a cross with a powerful downward header that deflects off James Justin and onto the base of the post.

Maximilian Kilman is up and cant's sweep in the rebound.

We've seen Jamie Vardy do that so much throughout his career haven't we? He just sits on the shoulder of Konstantinos Mavropanos and gets in behind.

Initially you think he is offside but he's not. He's clever and sharp. One on one he opens up his right foot and slots past Lukasz Fabianski.

I think Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen might be a busy man tonight.

He tips a shot from Jarrod Bowen round the post.

Better from West Ham as Vladimir Coufal chips a ball in for Mohammed Kudus but James Justin gets there first and heads clear.

By the way, West Ham United have conceded 16 first-half goals in 14 games, more than any other in the Premier League this season.

Reply to Anon at 19:25: Under Moyes we only won 4 games in 2024 in the Premier League, with the worst defence record outside the bottom 3, this has been improved under Julen! We have a new squad and it will take time.

Jamie Vardy is properly up for this.

He's in behind again although the angle is against him as Lukasz Fabianski tips his shot around the post.

  13. 'Good finish to the half but plenty for Ipswich to do'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    HT: Ipswich 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Mark Schwarzer

Ipswich will be a little disappointed with how the majority of the half went, but the last five minutes or so they had the best chance of the game. Unfortunately they didn't get the goal because it was a good save from Dean Henderson. Good finish to the half but plenty still to do.

Hoping the West Ham team that played Newcastle will turn up again tonight and not the team that was outclassed by Arsenal.

A quiet first half, but there were signs of it getting better in the last few minutes.

Eberechi Eze looked to be clean through for Palace, only to be denied by Wes Burns' superb last-ditch challenge. Then the hosts had their first effort on target with Harry Clarke's near post header superbly saved by Dean Henderson.

Worth the - long - wait for the hosts and it is the perfect start for Ruud Van Nistelrooy, just 98 seconds into his Leicester reign.

It's given! It's a typical Jamie Vardy goal and he just times his run right, latching on to Bilal El Khannouss' pass.

VAR are checking it, but could it be instant impact for Ruud van Nistelrooy?

It's a simple run in behind and Jamie Vardy is through on goal and produces a tidy finish.

But did he go too early?

  20. 'Good positioning from Henderson'published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Crystal Palace

Good positioning from Dean Henderson. Harry Clarke gets the perfect flick on at the near post and Henderson gets across and does a fantastic job to block.
