    Burton 0-0 Northampton

Aaron McGowan lets fly from long range for Northampton but it's a long way over.

Kevin Nolan's Northampton are racking up a few shots towards the end of this half, but as yet haven't been able to test Burton keeper Max Crocombe other than Sam Hoskins' effort about seven minutes ago.

    Cambridge 0-1 Bristol Rovers

The fourth official and referee have swapped places and play is finally back underway.

There will be lengthy amount of added time at the end of this half - plenty for another goal as Bristol Rovers go back on the hunt.

They go for another counter-attack but Ruel Sotiriou misfires and the chance goes begging.

  3. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

Sam Hoskins has another effort blocked for Northampton and it comes to the onrushing Liam Shaw on the edge of the box who smashes wildly over the bar.

  4. 'Two for Notts County, two for McGoldrick'published at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Notts County 2-0 Swindon

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Notts County have been the better team and had only one goal for their troubles, but that's all changed now.

McGoldrick receives a firm 15-yard pass from Abbott and he controls it well with his first touch and then places his shot past the goalkeeper.

Two for Notts County, two for McGoldrick.

  5. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Cambridge 0-1 Bristol Rovers

There's a small break in play as the referee sorts his tech gear.

Both teams flock to their managers for some instructions as Cambridge's attempt to amp up the pressure seeing no real effect.

As for the Gas, boss Inigo Calderon will want to stomp out any home momentum to see his third game in charge result in his first victory.

  6. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

Burton work a decent opening of their own now as Danilo Orsi collects a ball into the box, spins and shoots towards goal but it's well blocked by Jordan Willis.

  7. goal

GOAL: Notts County 2-0 Swindonpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    David McGoldrick (36 mins)

    Notts County double their lead.

Swindon were looking for that leveller but are made to pay by David McGoldrick again.

The striker is played in by George Abbott and McGoldrick controls and finishes well for his second of the game.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

This is the best chance of the game! In fact the only one so far.

Sam Hoskins gets in behind for Northampton after a good flick on by Tom Eaves but Max Crocombe is out well in the Burton goal to block Hoskins' stabbed effort from about 10 yards.

That at least shows how quickly this game could change...

  9. Postpublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Notts County 1-0 Swindon

Swindon are beginning to apply pressure now in search for an equaliser.

Paul Glatzel's effort is well blocked from Notts County's Sam Austin.

  10. Postpublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

They call it feeling each other out in a boxing fight, don't they? We've had about 35 minutes of that here, with neither laying a glove on one another.

Burton yet to have a single shot, just the two for Northampton, which didn't threaten. Scrappy and cagey are the words to describe this one.

  11. Postpublished at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Notts County 1-0 Swindon

Swindon's Aaron Drinan comes close twice in quick succession to an equaliser.

The striker tries one from distance which goes narrowly over before latching on to a long ball over the top from Will Wright's quick free-kick but his effort hits the side netting.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Bradford 0-0 Grimsby

Play has begun over at Valley Parade.

Can either side get themselves in a play-off spot before the rest of League Two get under way?

  13. 'What a goal for Bristol Rovers'published at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Cambridge 0-1 Bristol Rovers

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

What a goal for Bristol Rovers.

Six or seven passes in the build-up, a wonderful left-footed cross and Luke Thomas rising like a salmon. He didn't get much purchase on it, maybe the goalkeeper guided it in, but it was a good goal anyway.

  14. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

Burton are playing some neat stuff inside their own half and the middle of the pitch. Just looking for that quality in the final third when they get there, which has been lacking up until now.

Both sides have found it fairly comfortable to defend. So far, it feels like two teams trying not to lose rather than trying to win.

  15. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Notts County 1-0 Swindon

Some more good play from the hosts as David McGoldrick and Dan Crowley link up well resulting in the latter's shot from just outside the area being saved by Daniel Barden.

  16. goal

GOAL: Cambridge 0-1 Bristol Roverspublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Luke Thomas (25 mins)

Scott Sinclair beats out his man on the left-hand side of the box and swings in a cross towards a pouncing Luke Thomas.

Cambridge keeper Jack Stevens gets a touch on Thomas' confident header but he can't stop it going into the bottom corner.

  17. 'He will definitely be claiming that one'published at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Notts County 1-0 Swindon

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

A lovely bit of attacking play down the right hand side and a great ball into the back post where McGoldrick loops it just past the goal line.

He will definitely be claiming that one.

  18. Postpublished at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Burton 0-0 Northampton

Just over 23 minutes gone in this one and we've had one shot in the game, which came in the second minute when Sam Hoskins steered wide for Northampton.

Perhaps a microcosm of the season so far for both sides.

  19. Postpublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    Cambridge 0-0 Bristol Rovers

BRR isn't just a way of describing today's conditions.

It's also an abbreviation for Bristol Rovers in more ways than one after Cambridge's shots are frozen out by the Gas defence until they finally get themselves a corner.

Michael Morrison gets a nod to it but Gas keeper Josh Griffiths swipes it away with his gloves.

  20. goal

GOAL: Notts County 1-0 Swindonpublished at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January

    David McGoldrick (17 mins)

    Breakthrough at Meadow Lane!

Some good build-up play from Notts County and Swindon are unable to clear their lines. Matt Palmer crosses which David McGoldrick heads towards goal and Swindon defender Ryan Delaney gets a head to it but it finds it's way into the back of the net.

Bit of a nightmare there for Delaney.
