Burton 0-0 Northampton

Northampton's Tariqe Fosu comes into a high challenge on Burton wide man Nick Akoto and it's safe to say he felt the full force of that one.

No booking for Fosu, though. Probably got away with it by avoiding a yellow there.

Cambridge forward Dan Nlundulu can't continue and is replaced with Ryan Loft.

James Brophy also makes way for Emmanuel Longelo.

Notts County boss Stuart Maynard makes his first changes from the bench as Dan Crowley and Alassana Jatta make way for Conor Grant and Jodi Jones.

It's not been Cambridge forward Elias Kachunga's day so far.

The U's break for an attack and some smart passing makes its way to a charging Kachunga.

He takes the shot into the right corner but it sails above the bar.

Both sides are heading for consecutive 0-0 draws unless either can find a winner in the last 15 minutes plus stoppages.

This second half has shown much more promise than the first in terms of goal threat for the hosts in particular.

Three points for Burton or Northampton would be big in the context of the battle for survival in League One.

BIlly Bodin has looked lively for Burton since coming on at half-time.

Brewers have been the better side in this second half but have nothing to show for it as yet.

It is far from comfortable for Rovers at the beginning of this second half, they are making changes in hopes to bring some fresh legs to this attack.

Burton win a free-kick midway inside the Northampton half. Good opportunity to sling one into the mixer and Elliot Watt obliges...

But the ref spots a foul on Northampton's Aaron McGowan by Ryan Sweeney and that's the end of that attack.

Gas boss Inigo Calderon is sensing he needs to change things up to protect that lead and withdraws Ruel Sotiriou and goalscorer Luke Thomas.

On come Isaac Hutchinson and Gatlin O'Donkor.

Josh Stokes isn't done.

The Cambridge forward tries for goal himself but his effort can only ripple the right side netting.

He's looking frustrated but his side are really in the ascendency here.

There's a bit of a mix-up between Josh Stokes and Elias Kachunga to see a Cambridge equaliser go zooming out of sight.

Stokes slices a dangerous cross into the box but Kachunga doesn't react quick enough to put a leg out and direct it into the net.

Mason Bennett feeds in Rumarn Burrell on the right who drives into the box and smashes an effort off the bar.

The Brewers certainly looking the more likely in this second period as they go close again.

Two outstanding saves from Mariners keeper Jordan Wright was only able to stave the Bradford attack for a short time until Lewis Richards opened the scoring two minutes before the break.

With Grimsby having just one attempt at goal, is this match already sewn up or will we see a different Mariners in the second half?
