Andrew Dallas spent the second half of last season at Morecambe
Southend United have signed striker Andrew Dallas from Barnsley on a season-long loan deal.
The 26-year-old Glaswegian started his career in the Rangers youth academy and had loan spells last season in League Two with Barrow and Morecambe, respectively.

Aldershot Town duo Josh Brooking and Olly Scott have both suffered serious long-term injuries before the Shots' season-opener at Altrincham on Saturday.
Summer signing Brooking will miss most of the campaign after the defender ruptured his Achilles in the Shots' first pre-season game at Badshot Lea last month.
Left wing-back Scott has undergone surgery for a second time after suffering a recurrence of the dislocated shoulder he first injured last season in training.

Aldershot Town have signed free-agent defender Will Nightingale.
The 30-year-old centre-back joins the Shots after leaving AFC Wimbledon, though he spent the last two seasons on loan at Scottish Premiership side Ross County.

West Ham United's FA Youth Cup-winning goalkeeper Mason Terry has joined Braintree Town on a season's loan.
The 20-year-old was named supporters' player of the season in loan spells at Concord Rangers in 2023-24 and last season at Hornchurch, where he kept 17 clean sheets.

Aidan Dausch becomes the second Coventry City player to join Forest Green Rovers on loan for the 2025-26 season
Forest Green Rovers have signed forward Aidan Dausch from Coventry City on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old USA youth international has made two senior appearances off the bench for the Sky blues.
Dausch played nine National League South matches and scored two goal on loan for St Albans City as the Hertfordshire club were relegated in 21st place.
He follows fellow Coventry loanee Isaac Moore to the New Lawn Stadium for the 2025-26 season.
"Aidan is an exciting talent that we're delighted to work with here at Forest Green," Rovers manager Robbie Savage said.
"We're thankful to Frank Lampard and Coventry City for allowing us to bring Aidan and Isaac to the football club. We're excited to see them both develop and help us in our quest for promotion."
Rovers begin the National League season away at Solihull Moors on Saturday.
