Cows were on show in Somerset this week

One of the biggest dairy shows in the country took place in Somerset this week, showcasing some of the best cows the county has to offer.

Meanwhile, pictures show how dry the Wimbleball Lake has become over the summer and the beach sunsets have been stunning this week.

The Dairy Show event is one of the most important dates in the dairy farmer's calendar, combining a trade show with an exhibition of dairy cattle.
