    Son Heung-min swings in a corner - and Hakon Valdimarsson flaps at it but before the ball even reaches him it hits the back of Vitaly Janelt and goes into the back of the net.

    No wonder nobody was claiming the goal.

    I will never understand why Tyrick Mitchell is so consistently overlooked at left-back for England. Even when he was the only fit left-back available, right-backs and midfielders were getting shoehorned into the England team ahead of him.

    That is three times now Tyrick Mitchell has been in an excellent position on the left angle of the penalty area.

    On the first two occasions, Mitchell crossed, even though he was in a good position to shoot.

    The final time, Mitchell went for goal but was off target and Ismaila Sarr couldn't flick the ball goalwards.

    Kamada played it to Mitchell, who fired it across. That was a big opportunity.

    Brentford players are lining up for an attack. Bryan Mbeumo's cross finds a colleague but he can't turn it in - but they keep the pressure on. A series of cosses and eventually Vitaly Janelt whips the ball in and Yoane Wissa glances a header wide of the far post.

    Manchester United are all over Crystal Palace at the moment but the visitors are happy to try and counter on the break.

    Jean-Philippe Mateta leads the charge and Maxence Lacroix has a shot parried by Andre Onana before Jefferson Lerma hits a wild volley that spins away for a throw.

    Tottenham have a massive game in their season on Thursday, with the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

    Spurs lead 1-0 after the first leg, but will have to be at their best to hold off league leaders Liverpool at Anfield and get into a final against either Newcastle or Arsenal.

    "Spurs are on their way to Wembley, Tottenham's going to do it again," was an early chant from the fans as the club aim to win their first piece of silverware since the League Cup in 2008.

    It does not take the away fans long, about 13 minutes into the match, to express their displeasure with chairman Daniel Levy, chanting "we want Levy out".
