Nearly moments, maybes. United trying to force something, a lot of cute passes leading to nothing.

One minute added as Alejandro Garnacho tees up Lisandro Martinez at the edge of the Crystal Palace box but he gets that all wrong and punts an effort well over the bar.

Jobsworth referee comes over to check if the ball is over the corner arc before they take it.

It comes in and Bryan Mbeumo's fierce volley is blocked by the head of Richarlison. Ouch.

Richarlison goes down in the box. No penalty. Second Spurs appeal of the half. He was sent away by a lovely flicked return ball from Djed Spence.

A huge groan goes up inside the stadium as Diogo Dalot tries to play a little ball round the corner for Kobbie Mainoo to run onto.

The home midfielder had stopped his run though and a promising attack breaks down.

Brentford's keeper should trust his defenders more. He didn't need to come for that, but he shouted for it then got nowhere near it.

    Peter

Love that. From a corner the defender is looking at his opponent and doesn't look at the ball from delivery to arrival. Then it went if off his back. Divine justice for a stupid tactic used by so many coaches.

That's Son Heung-min's first yellow card for Spurs since 2023.

I think Andre Onana saved it.

The reaction from Jean-Philippe Mateta is saying Andre Onana got a touch on it.

That was a big moment. It's the first time we've seen good play from Jefferson Lerma.

Brentford allow Yves Bissouma to run forward and smash in a shot from 30 yards but it's central, low and saved.

Oh my. Crystal Palace's French forward Jean-Philippe Mateta runs off Harry Maguire, is played onside by Leny Yoro and chips wide as Andre Onana advances.

His manager Oliver Glasner cannot believe that he has missed that chance.

  15. 'Nobody there to take advantage of Kulusevski's brilliance'published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Brentford 0-1 Tottenham

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's brilliant play from Dejan Kulusevski. It's a wonderful first touch to get away from his man.

Unfortunately for him, Son has not read it and isn't at the back post. There's nobody there to take advantage of it.

There are a lot more shenanigans in there. Some borderline penalties in my opinion. Anyway Dejan Kulusevski flicks a header over at the near post from Son Heung-min's corner.

  17. Postpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time

Tottenham have a corner but the referee stops some pushing and shoving and we have to wait for Son Heung-min to be allowed to take it.

This Spurs vs Brentford match is like a Fast & Furious movie. It's dreadful, but somehow quite fun.

  19. 'Naive from Moore'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Brentford 0-1 Tottenham

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's just a bit of naivety from Mikey Moore.

You don't get a chance to take a touch there, you're going back towards the goal and Collins comes across and gives him a shove.

Brentford have got away with it.

Pretty much every time Manchester United attack down the left they check back largely because all the players over there..Diogo Dalot, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes are predominantly right footed.

Patrick Dorgu must be itching to get started.
