    He tries to be inventive because it's dropping and he tries to back-heel it in. It's a great attempt.

    Yoane Wissa has flicked an effort onto the crossbar from close range as the latest warning shot.

    It followed a good save from goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky stopped the striker scoring moments earlier - with Pedro Porro clearing before any Brentford players followed up.

    It's fair to say that Tottenham are riding their luck, especially when defending the huge number of crosses into the box, which now total 20 crosses.

    What a pass that is. Lisandro Martínez zings a 40-yard cross-field ball into the path of Amad Diallo, but he takes a heavy touch and Marc Guehi is back on the cover for the visitors to deny the winger a shot at goal.

    Chance for Spurs to double the lead after that let-off. Dejan Kulusevski bursts into the box and slams a shot into the side-netting instead of trying to cut it back for Richarlison.

    It's a wicked cross in and it bounces just in front of Antonin Kinsky.

    If he doesn't touch it then Yoane Wissa is flying in behind him and would tap it in.

    The Portugal midfielder is up to take it and floats a ball in towards Harry Maguire, who heads down but Dean Henderson saves Manuel Ugarte's low shot.

    Richarlison isn’t a striker, he isn’t an out and out centre-forward. Richarlison is also a player who has brilliant purple patches, but only when playing week-in week-out. He has been injured but also hasn’t played consistently when fit. Again a failure of recruitment and scouting. Richarlison does run himself into the ground and scores important goals, but you need to play to his strengths.

    The home side actually look considerably more dangerous playing on the break than when they try and control the game.

    Mainoo playing as a striker should only really happen due to an injury crisis, not when you've got two strikers on the bench that cost £100m. It smells of desperation and not being able to get the best out of players.
