    Aston Villa 1-0 Bayern Munich

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

    Wow. He's done it again!

Brilliant, Duran. Right in the middle on his own.

It's going to be tight [for offside] but what a great run.

Look where Neuer is! He's in no man's land!

  2. Gravenberch 'so different from a traditional number six'published at 21:39 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

    Steve McManaman
Former Liverpool winger on TNT Sports

This is what he gives you as a number six.

His mobility is brilliant, so different from a traditional number six.

  3. Postpublished at 21:39 British Summer Time 2 October

    Benfica 3-0 Atletico Madrid

    Surely game over in Lisbon.

A bad night for Conor Gallagher and Atletico Madrid as Alexander Bah makes it 3-0 for the hosts.

Benfica are about to make it two wins out of two.

  4. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 1-0 Bayern Munichpublished at 21:39 British Summer Time 2 October

    Jhon Duran (79 mins)

    OH MY WORD. SUPER SUB!

    Unbelievable. Unbelievable.

Jhon Duran scores his fifth goal from the bench this season - and it's a screamer. He runs onto a ball over the top, out left. sees Manuel Neuer off his line and hooks a shot over him from about 30 yards out.

  5. Postpublished at 21:38 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Bayern haven't played in a 0-0 draw since last November against Copenhagen, a run of 36 games.

  6. Postpublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Ross Barkley tries to carry Villa forward but he can't find anybody so has to turn backwards. The hosts haven't done much of note in the second half.

  7. Postpublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 2 October

    RB Leipzig 2-2 Juventus

    What a match this is!

Ten-man Juventus are back on level terms thanks to a classy finish by Dusan Vlahovic - his second of the night.

There's still a good 15 minutes plus stoppages to go. Plenty of time for someone to find a winner.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

A double change for Bologna as Santiago Castro and Aston Villa loanee Samuel Iling-Junior are on for Thijs Dallinga and Dan Ndoye.

    Ten minutes to go.

  9. 'You don't let Mo Salah come in onto his left foot'published at 21:36 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

    Steve McManaman
Former Liverpool winger on TNT Sports

The frustrating part for Bologna and their manager is, and his team, you don't let Mo Salah come in onto his left foot.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:36 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Bayern bring on former Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha for Aleksandar Pavlovic.

  11. Postpublished at 21:35 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

Almost a third for Liverpool as they charge forward in numbers again. Mohamed Salah clips a great ball towards the back post, but Cody Gakpo just can't quite get to it.

  12. Postpublished at 21:35 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Ezri Konsa blocks Serge Gnabry's cross and Bayern have a corner. Villa try to counter from it but Bayern get it back.

  13. Postpublished at 21:34 British Summer Time 2 October

    Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 Monaco

Dinamo Zagreb were embarrassed in their opening Champions League as they crumbled to a 9-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich.

No such problems tonight. Martin Baturina doubles his side's lead in Croatia against Monaco.

  14. 'It was always going to end up in the back of the net'published at 21:34 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

    Steve McManaman
Former Liverpool winger on TNT Sports

It's a brilliant goal. That goal doesn't happen unless Trent Alexander-Arnold runs. Trent Alexander-Arnold should get the assist but once he cuts in onto his left with space he had it was always going to end up in the back of the net.

Brilliant unselfish play from the right-back.

  15. Postpublished at 21:34 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Villa Park

For all of Bayern Munich's domination of possession and territory they haven't given Emi Martinez too many saves to make in this second half.

  16. 'A work of art'published at 21:33 British Summer Time 2 October

    Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Anfield

That's 49 Champions League goals now for Mohamed Salah and this one is surely one of the best of them. He cuts in on the left foot and curls a truly delightful finish into the top corner.

A work of art. And it has massively settled some increasing nerves among the home fans.

Can Salah reach the half century tonight?

  17. Postpublished at 21:33 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Jhon Duran has scored four Premier League goals as a sub this season so far.

Villa won't be able to make a fifth sub today because they've used their three windows for changes.

  18. Emery thinking of the weekend with Watkins change?published at 21:32 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Villa Park

I'm a little bit surprised that Ollie Watkins has come off, maybe Unai Emery is thinking about the weekend? But would he really in this situation? Jhon Duran has come off the bench to score all types of goals this season.

    Superb goal!

Liverpool are back in the Champions League and Mohamed Salah is back scoring in it.

He receives the ball on the edge of the box, skips past Juan Miranda and then thunders a fine strike into the top corner.

  20. Postpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 2 October

    RB Leipzig 2-1 Juventus

Former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is only on the pitch a few moments when he gives away a penalty after handling from a free-kick.

Benjamin Sesko makes no mistake from the spot and is on a hat-trick.

Juve are not only losing, they are also down to 10-men after goalkeeper Michele di Gregorio was earlier shown a red card for a professional foul.
