    But seeing fourth official Peter Bankes show eight minutes of added time on his digital display has lifted the crowd at Stamford Bridge.

    This has been an uncomfortable half as Palace have been excellent as both teams push for winners.

    But the eight minutes shown of added time has created more hope among Chelsea's support.
