Is Joelinton not allowed to be sent off or something? Should have got a straight red against Bournemouth, and has now committed multiple fouls despite being on a yellow with no warning.

Not one clean sheet in nine Premier League matches so far this weekend. Goals galore.

  4. CLOSE!published at 14:58 British Summer Time 1 September

    Newcastle 1-1 Tottenham

Oh, lovely. Newcastle dig deep and find something.

On the break, Anthony Gordon backheels it to Jacob Murphy, who has overlapped him to his left.

Murphy, just introduced as a substitute, toe-pokes it towards the near post and Guglielmo Vicario has to react to block it.

Chelsea look so vulnerable when Palace break on the counter.

Malo Gusto is receiving treatment after stopping Eberechi Eze in the box.

This is finely poised with more than 20 minutes of normal time left.

Brennan Johnson is having a lot of fun. He's made a big difference since coming on. He gets it out wide again but Son Heung-min is inches away from his cross which Nick Pope gathers in.

Lloyd Kelly gives it away to Brennan Johnson but his dangerous cross won't fall for a team-mate.

Newcastle just can't get out of their own half. They are really under pressure and it's another Tottenham corner.

  9. Felix on for Neto is a sensible changepublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 1 September

Crystal Palace are firmly in the ascendancy after a stunning equaliser from Eberchi Eze swung momentum back their way.

Chelsea had performed well and looked solid throughout the game but now look vulnerable as the goalscorer pulls the strings.

Meanwhile, Pedro Neto has struggled on his first start for the Blues.

It's understandable, therefore, that Joao Felix is on for his compatriot and he will look to keep possession better and slow down this increasingly end-to-end game.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 1 September

    Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace

That's such a silly booking for Nicolas Jackson.

The referee blows for a foul but Jackson continues to run with the ball before rolling it into the net.

    Out comes a yellow card.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 1 September

Jacob Murphy is on for goalscorer Harvey Barnes.

Re 14:42.. that moment of pure 'quality'.. ;-) .. is what Man Utd need, and they should have made a bid for Eze post-World Cup...if not, Osimhen.

Tottenham will feel they have got what they deserved with Dan Burn putting it into his own net from substitute Brennan Johnson's shot after Nick Pope should have done better than parry it into Johnson's path.

Spurs fans making all the noise now. They feel they can win this.

Manchester United hand first starts to Dutch summer signings Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt. The Dutch duo, and Alejandro Garnacho, are the three changes from the side who lost to Brighton last week.

Mason Mount, who has a hamstring injury, Harry Maguire and Amad Diallo are replaced.

Liverpool name the same XI who beat Brentford. New signing Federico Chiesa isn't in the matchday squad.

Follow build-up to that game here from 15:00 BST.

Pedro Porro's effort from the free-kick sails over the bar.

Eddie Howe has to make some changes and he's getting them ready. Nick Pope, meanwhile, has gone down needing treatment.

  16. Postpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 1 September

    Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze loves a London derby.

He has scored 19 of his 27 Premier League goals in the capital.

The Crystal Palace player is so pleasing on the eye. So elegant, so deadly.

Chelsea will argue that Palace should have been reduced to 10-men but Will Hughes was allowed to stay on the pitch before being replaced.

However, the home side have wasted several chances to increase their advantage and have now seen their lead wiped out.

  18. Postpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 1 September

    Newcastle 1-1 Tottenham

Nick Pope actually managed to get his finger tips on the Brennan Johnson contact and maybe that's what threw Dan Burn off.

Either way, Newcastle are on the ropes. Bruno Guimaraes is in the book now for a foul on James Maddison.

  19. 'I don't think it's going in'published at 14:49 British Summer Time 1 September

    Newcastle 1-1 Tottenham

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The changes Postecoglou made have made a massive difference. That is an absolute 100% own goal by Dan Burn. I don't think it's going in there. He tries to clear it and he roofs it.
