The first big Chelsea chance came after a Gittens cross was deflected in Chalobah path but he skies the shot over.

Arguably Cucurella's looping header earlier was another and it created some panic as Ismaila Sarr cleared off the line but Chelsea have not created much.

Chelsea were fortunate to have this chance created.

Jamie Gittens was always going to drive on to his right foot, but it takes a deflection and falls to Trevoh Chalobah.

Chalobah has a snapshot and he should hit the target.

A great chance for Chelsea after good work from summer signing Jamie Gittens. His shot bounces around the penalty area and drops perfectly for Trevoh Chalobah central eight yards out, but he makes a hash of the strike and blasts it over the top. Should have been a goal and that's a big miss.

It's poor from Brentford to give the ball away in their own half as Ibrahim Sangare finds Morgan Gibbs-White but the Forest attack breaks down before they can find a shot.

Brentford have just ridden that storm from Forest, it felt like ten or so minutes they maybe might have got the second. Brentford will hope that they can get one or two more chances before the half comes to an end.

Forest's waves of attacks have slowed and Brentford seem to have weathered the storm but the visitors are still struggling to create chances themselves.

Daniel Munoz and Marc Cucurella challenge for a bouncing ball and Munoz is just slightly late and clatters into the Chelsea defender.

Munoz gets a yellow card for his trouble.

The amount of dominance that Forest have had so far, it's almost like these two teams aren't in the same division. There's a lot of players in this Brentford side that are used to the league, the gulf should not be what we've seen.

In it comes deep towards Nathan Collins but it loops high into the air so Matz Sels is able to claim.

It was a great effort from Yarmolyuk. He probably felt that he didn't have a pass on and would have preferred it cleaner on his right foot. In the end he opted for the outside of the foot finish and forced a good save from Sels.

We're finally seeing something from Brentford in an attacking sense now as they win their first corner of the game.

This is better from Brentford as they break forward and Yehor Yarmoliuk forces a save from Matz Sels low to his right.

He goes with the outside of his foot so the ball is curling towards Sels rather than away.
