Summary

  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Josh Laurent is on for Burnley, with Josh Cullen making way. The Josh quota remains intact.

Andy Hughes is down for Preston, who have already swapped Robbie Brady for Stefan Thordarson.

It means Jack Whatmough is going to have to come on too.

Three minutes and presumably plenty of stoppage-time to come.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford

John Mousinho is rolling the dice again. Zak Swanson and Matt Ritchie are introduced in place of Jordan Williams and Christian Saydee.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:13 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford

Portsmouth almost regain the lead... but Jamie Cumming is there to deny them again.

Josh Muprhy fires a cross in from the left which takes a wicked deflection off Peter Kioso and is heading straight in at the near post.

But Cumming gets down brilliantly to save.

  4. Postpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Cheap free-kick conceded by Burnley's Lyle Foster on Jordan Storey.

Robbie Brady's left-foot swings the ball towards the far post but it bounces beyond everyone.

Brady will be replaced by Stefan Thordarson when the ball next goes out of play.

  5. Postpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 4-0 Hull City

The home side are rampant now and Ivor Pandur makes a fine low save from Kellen Fisher's low strike.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

The tireless Kaine Kesler-Hayden bustles his way into the Burnley box and wins a corner off Lucas Pires, though he wanted more.

Robbie Brady's curling cross is eventually hacked clear.

Jeremy Sarmiento is coming on for the Clarets with Jaidon Anthony withdrawn by Scott Parker.

Nice option to have off the bench with eight minutes to go at this level, huh?

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 4-0 Hull City

Borja Sainz's work for the day is done with that superb lob.

The forward makes way alongside Josh Sargent, who scored and missed a penalty today in a more mixed afternoon's work.

Jack Stacey and new signing Emiliano Marcondes are on for the final 10 minutes.

  8. Postpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford

We are well into a massive last 10 minutes at Fratton Park.

Can Portsmouth find the goal that will give them a first win of the season?

Or will Oxford snatch their first away victory?

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:09 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford

Oxford's Siriki Dembele breaks clean through on the right-hand side but Jordan Williams scampers back and just manages to put enough pressure on Dembele to force him to blaze wide.

    What a chance that was.

  10. Postpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Duane Holmes releases the pressure on the Preston defence with a 60 yard run down the Lilywhites left before fooling Jaidon Anthony into conceding a free-kick.

The set-piece drops to Brad Potts but his effort is charged down by Lyle Foster and loops into the hands of James Trafford.

    Another stoppage...

GOAL: Norwich 4-0 Hull Citypublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 5 October

    Borja Sainz (78 mins)

    That is sumptuous!

When you're hot, you're hot and Borja Sainz is red-hot right now!

Callum Doyle plays a good ball forward into Sainz, who has come in off his right wing.

The Spaniard went for a lob earlier in the game and was thwarted by Ivor Pandur and goes for it again and gets this one BANG ON.

    An absolute beauty.

Portsmouth are making a change and Harvey Blair has replaced Mark O'Mahony.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 3-0 Hull City

Controversy here as Joao Pedro is adjudged to have handled the ball over the line for Hull City!

The sub bundles in Abu Kamara wicked ball to the back post and he claims it is with his chest.

Replays seem to support the referee's call.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Mads Frokjaer comes off for Preston with Duane Holmes sent on by Paul Heckingbottom.

Any flow to this game has well and truly disappeared.

  15. 'Game really opened up'published at 14:04 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford United

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at Fratton Park

Some serious "limbs" in the away end from the travelling Oxford United fans.

Think we even got a yellow flare that has left a hazy cloud to my right.

Portsmouth then have three shots in succession on goal which are all blocked by Oxford defenders, game really opening up now.

  16. CLOSE!published at 14:04 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-1 Oxford

Absolute chaos in the Oxford penalty area.

A corner comes in for Pompey's Connor Ogilvie and his header hits the inside of the post and somehow doesn't go over the line as it ricochets across goal.

Moments before, Christian Saydee saw a shot saved by Jamie Cumming who then palmed away the rebound by Elias Sorensen.

It fell to Mark O'Mahony who sees his shot cleared off the line for the corner.

John Mousinho will be wondering how his side aren't back in front.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Robbie Brady concedes a free-kick for a foul on Burnley sub Connor Roberts as they prepare to attack a high ball.

This has turned into a wrestling bout rather than a football match, in truth. So stop-start.

Dutchman Zian Flemming is off the bench for the hosts, with Hannibal Mejbri making way.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 3-0 Hull City

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Lyle Foster is wiped out by Liam Lindsay on the Burnley right and Andy Hughes, who is already on a yellow, smashes the ball back at him as he falls to the floor.

Gavin Ward books Burnley's CJ Egan-Riley for racing over to get involved with Hughes.

A third change of the day for the home side.
