    The substitute strikes immediately!

Peter Kioso feeds the ball to Louie Sibley just outside the box and his powerful left-footed effort takes a slight deflection on the way into the bottom corner.

Des Buckingham's changes make an instant impact and we're all square again at Fratton Park.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-0 Oxford

Des Buckingham has seen enough and is making a double change for Oxford.

Ruben Rodrigues and Mark Harris are off and on come Louie Sibley and Siriki Dembele.

A big call to take off top goalscorer Harris.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Preston's Ali McCann flies into a challenge on Josh Brownhill near the centre circle which raises the temperature past boiling point.

Brownhill's reaction is one of fury and he bounces up and shoves McCann in the chest.

    Gavin Ward books them both.

I doubt it will be his last involvement, somehow...

  4. 'Tempers high'published at 13:58 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

    Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire

Tempers are high now. Four or five players start pushing each other.

I have a feeling somebody is going to be walking if we're not careful.

  5. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

If he goes down there it's a penalty.

Anthony gets his shirt pulled and it stops him trying to get a shot away.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Great advantage played by Gavin Ward allowing Lyle Foster to blaze away from Liam Lindsay down the left and play to Luca Koleosho to swing in a cross which Jaidon Anthony tries to control under huge pressure from a defender before having his shot charged down.

Anthony wants a penalty, Foster wants a booking for Lindsay, but only talks himself into the book.

Boss Scott Parker is also cautioned by Ward, as is a coach on the Preston bench.

This Lancashire hot pot is bubbling up nicely with 25 minutes or so remaining.

  7. goal

GOAL: Norwich 3-0 Hull Citypublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 5 October

    Kaide Gordon (66 mins)

Dear me, Hull masters of their own downfall.

Josh Sargent looks to barge a way to goal but is shut down by three Tigers defenders.

Charlie Hughes should then just clear his lines but tries to make a pass out and totally miscues it to Kaide Gordon.

The Liverpool loanee doesn't make the cleanest connection with his strike but it hits the same post as Sargent's penalty did a few minutes ago and, unlike his spot-kick, goes in.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-0 Oxford

Oxford's Peter Kioso comes in late on Josh Murphy on the halfway line and bundles him to the ground with a heavy shove.

That's a yellow all day long and the ref agrees.

  9. Postpublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-0 Oxford

You can really feel how crucial this last 25 minutes is at Fratton Park.

A win for Pompey would put them within one point of Luton in 21st, albeit having played a game more.

Vitally, it would be that elusive first victory. Can Oxford spoil the party?

  10. Postpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Kaine Kesler-Hayden gets past Luca Koleosho on the Preston right and swings in a high cross which drifts narrowly over the crossbar at the far post.

The right-back has certainly posed more of an attacking threat than he has been called on to defend today.

Preston have been growing into the game again and Mads Frokjaer drags a 20-yard shot well wide of the base of James Trafford's post when he had a far better option of that man Kesler-Hayden steaming down the right again on the overlap.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 2-0 Hull City

Ryan Giles and Steven Alzate are on for the Tigers, who are in the ascendancy now.

  12. Postpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-0 Oxford

Portsmouth come forward in search of a second through Mark O'Mahony.

A ball over the top comes down the left-hand side and O'Mahony hits it from a tight angle into the side-netting.

That opening goal has really given the crowd a lift.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 2-0 Hull City

Mohamed Belloumi smashes a wonderful free-kick off the crossbar for the away side!

The Tigers keep the ball alive and sub Charlie Hughes can only fire into the side-netting at the back post.

  14. 'Finish of real quality'published at 13:50 British Summer Time 5 October

    Portsmouth 1-0 Oxford United

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at Fratton Park

Fratton Park has come alive, a finish of real quality from Portsmouth.

Josh Murphy's lovely cross was beautifully glanced in by Mark O'Mahony.

Could this be the day John Mousinho's side get their first league win of the season?

Still plenty of time for Oxford United to get back into this though, half an hour of normal time to play.

  15. Postpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

Spell of action in the middle third of the Turf Moor pitch as we approach the hour mark.

Preston are very disciplined in the press and Burnley are struggling to get the ball into that final third and keep hold of it.

Feels like there might be one big chance for either side in this second half, and it's down to who can take it.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 2-0 Hull City

Cody Drameh stops Borja Sainz bursting over the halfway line for the home side in the clearest booking you'll see today.

Liverpool loanee Kaide Gordon is on for Ante Crnac for the Canaries.

That's the home team's second sub after goalkeeper Angus Gunn went off at the break.

  17. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 5 October

    Burnley 0-0 Preston

    Andy Bayes
    Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire

Burnley have been slightly better in this half.

North End have just lost their way a bit in the past few minutes.

  18. MISSED PENALTY: Josh Sargent (Norwich)published at 13:46 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 2-0 Hull City

    Josh Sargent hits the post!

The American's effort beats the dive of Ivor Pandur to his right but comes back off the face of the post and the rebound squirms just wide of the opposite upright.

    A let-off for Hull.

    Can they capitalise on it?

  19. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 1-0 Oxfordpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 5 October

    Mark O'Mahony (58 mins)

Portsmouth celebrate scoringImage source, Rex Features

Portsmouth take the lead and what a huge goal this could prove to be by Mark O'Mahony!

Josh Murphy delivers a cross from the left-hand side and O'Mahony stoops bravely in front of Oxford's Ciaron Brown to glance home into the far corner.

That's the first time Pompey have scored the opening goal in a home game this season and they're 30 minutes away from a first win if they can hold on.

  20. PENALTY: Norwichpublished at 13:45 British Summer Time 5 October

    Norwich 2-0 Hull City

The home side have a penalty for handball by Hull skipper Lewie Coyle.
