    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Villa Park

That would have been so, so harsh on Ezri Konsa. The arm wasn't up and out and away from his body. He threw his body in the way of the shot and his arm was down by his side and the ball hit his elbow. Given the close proximity that would have been extremely harsh.

There is a quick VAR check but the decision remains no penalty to Bayern.

Joshua Kimmich's corner hits the side-netting, maybe the post.

    Liverpool 1-0 Bologna

Another scare for Liverpool as Alisson is called upon to keep out Riccardo Orsolini's shot from a free-kick into the box.

The visitors certainly have the opportunity to take something from this.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton

How many more challenges can Dayot Upamecano make? He has got to be careful. Another one and you can imagine what this Villa Park crowd will make of it.

  11. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

I don't mean literal bites like that Preston fella.

  12. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 2 October

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

Dayot Upamecano really is struggling to deal with Ollie Watkins tonight. He has three bites at taking down the Villa striker, eventually succeeding. Surely he's dicing with a red card if he does it again.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Villa Park

It was a good little burst from Jaden Philogene down the Villa left. He jinked past Konrad Laimer and did a couple of stepovers, Kim didn't fall for it but he won a corner after a couple of riccochets.

  20. 'It's high risk from Bayern'published at 21:04 British Summer Time 2 October

HT: Aston Villa 0-0 Bayern Munich

    Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on TNT Sports

It's high risk, some would say it's brave, but I would say it's borderline stupidity at times from Bayern, it's one v one.

The first foul [from Upamecano on Watkins], it's 100% a foul. How the ref has not seen the tangling of the legs there...

Upamecano would have been off the pitch, the one after is a yellow.
