    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Almost that knuckle ball effect. No Trent alexander-Arnold, so it's over to Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah on free-kicks.

  5. goal

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 2 April

    Omar Marmoush (29 mins)

Well Mads Hermansen won't want to see that one again.

Ruben Dias dinks the ball into the box and Leicester make an absolute mess of it. Wout Faes and Hermansen get in a pickle and the goalkeeper spills the ball and can't recover.

Omar Marmoush is there to lash in off the crossbar. Good finish but a poor error from the keeper.

Brighton's Brazilian striker Joao Pedro has already shown his high quality with some delightful deft touches. He is a real class act and a big attacking weapon for Fabian Hurzeler's side.

Julio Enciso tries his luck from 30 yards but it's not the cleanest of hits and over the top it flies. Has to be better than that.

Did look like a soft one.

What a let-off for James Tarkowski.

He does get the ball, but the follow through was ugly.

  13. Fernandes quality for the goalpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 2 April

    Southampton 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at St Mary's

It's a lovely move by the Saints who take the lead thanks to Paul Onuachu.

A lot of praise has to go to Mateus Fernandes who was key in the build-up, playing a gorgeous cross for Onuachu to head in.

Fernandes has been very good for Saints this season, looks a quality player.

The home fans started singing "we are staying up" for a second, some fans next to me laughed when they heard it.. then joined in!

  15. 'Nasty from Tarkowski'published at 20:12 British Summer Time 2 April

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This challenge is nasty from James Tarkowski. He wins the ball, but follows-through on Alexis Mac Allister.

Tarkowski knows exactly what he's doing in that situation. I think it is so dangerous. It is out of control from Tarkowski.

  16. Postpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 2 April

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

I've seen players sent off for much less dangerous tackles than that.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 2 April

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Everton defender James Tarkowski, moments after blocking a shot, goes in with a high boot which catches Alexis Mac Alllister high on the leg. It's very dangerous and this could be a red card. Just a yellow but VAR checking.

And VAR agrees just a yellow. A let-off.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:11 British Summer Time 2 April

    Brighton 0-0 Aston Villa

Kaoru Mitoma drives forward with the ball and gives it to Simon Adingra on the edge of the box. He takes a touch and has a go with his right foot and it's inches wide.

  19. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 2 April

    Man City 1-0 Leicester

Leicester don't really look like doing enough to genuinely threaten Manchester City here but, with the home side's recent record, they will want another goal.

  20. Where's Doucoure?published at 20:10 British Summer Time 2 April

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football news reporter at Anfield

Not seen much involvement from Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure so far.

It was the Everton midfielder who sparked the fiery scenes at the end of the derby at Goodison Park in February.
