  1. Sutton's predictionpublished at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    Chelsea v Brentford (19:00 GMT)

    Sutton

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

I really admire the job Thomas Frank has done with Brentford because, under him, they have evolved as a team and grown as a club.

But this is another pretty obvious prediction, because the Bees are awesome at home and useless away.

I really can't see past a Chelsea win here, with Cole Palmer's Panenka penalty against Tottenham illustrating how high their confidence is.

The way they are playing, they are definitely title contenders, no matter how many times their manager Enzo Maresca denies it.

It will be odd for fans to have a game starting so late on a Sunday night, but the Premier League have caved in to teams who want a bit of extra rest after playing in Europe on Thursday.

I'm not sure the Premier League have thought this through, and they might have opened a can of worms here.

All teams like to complain about not getting enough rest, especially over Christmas, so the Premier League probably need to come up with a minimum time period that teams should have between games, and stick to it.

Tosin Adarabioyo is the only player starting for Chelsea today who travelled to Kazakhstan for Thursday's game.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou also rings the changes from the side that drew 1-1 at Rangers on Thursday in the Europa League.

In come Dejan Kulusevski, Lucas Bergvall, Djed Spence, Pape Sarr and Dominic Solanke. Germany forward Timo Werner, who was publicly criticised by his manager for his performance in the Europa League, is on a young-looking bench for Spurs.

  4. Why are these games on late?published at 17:52 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

Both matches are in this odd slot because of Thursday night European football.

Southampton v Tottenham was picked for TV by TNT Sports but they could not play on Saturday because of the short turnaround.

And then they could not play earlier today because it would clash with Sky Sports' games.

Chelsea v Brentford is not on TV but they moved their game later because the Blues had 16 hours of flying for Thursday's trip to Kazakhstan. They landed back in the UK at 05:30 GMT on Friday.
