It's time only 2 teams got promoted from the championship, the gulf is too big to fix even with 50 to 100m being spent, it is no fun for teams like Southampton.

I want RM to stay. I still believe in his plan and I don’t feel any of this is his fault. 4 years of poor recruitment before his arrival have caused this and I don’t see another manager improving our situation this season. However, it is clear I’m in the minority, so I wish him well in his next job.

Unlucky that for Southampton. Adam Armstrong is at the right place at the right time to take the shot but it all began with Tyler Dibling.

I wonder if some partners of Southampton fans are hearing the door open right now and asking "what are you doing home? Didn't the game only start at 7pm?"

MattyMcNich on X: Does nobody see the glaring irony here? Ange is up against a manager in Russell Martin who refuses to change his philosophy, even though his philosophy is playing straight into the hands of the opposition. Sound familiar, Ange?

I'm a diehard Saints fan, backed them through both 9-0 defeats. But can honestly say I don't see a solution for this team. No cutting edge and no defensive prowess. They seem like good lads and don't deserve what they will get this season.
