Southampton please don't sack RM - then they are guaranteed to be relegated. Then Ipswich only have to be better than 2 other teams.

    Chelsea

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson: "Very big win. Not an easy game. They're a difficult side to play against.

"It was difficult because they always play set-pieces. But we won. I'm very happy.

"Listen to the manager, respect the plan and we did that. It was more difficult at the end because they wanted to score again.

"We're getting to know each other better. Last year is finished, now we're concentrating on this year.

"I missed that one but I was thinking I'll get another one and try to score to help the team win. I did exactly that.

"It's all about getting more experience. I'm getting more confident.

"We're just trying to win every game and focus on the next one. I don't look at the table."

Ref very poor here tonight. Numerous simulations by Chelsea players. Cucurella is a horrible player. He should get Oscars and not cards.

Brentford probably have this final free-kick to create a chance. Marc Cucurella goes down holding his face - oh he's run straight into Sepp van den Berg and bought his team a free-kick.

That's probably it over for Brentford now.

flexiturb on X: Emlyn - and that late Brentford goal is why I swapped out Sanchez for another keeper. Chelsea are good this season, but keeping a clean sheet would clearly cause Stamford Bridge to collapse, so it doesn’t happen.
