    Tim: Saints fan here, agree with William. The rot set in a while back. What would be the point changing managers now? Our squad is too big yet not enough PL quality players (injuries aren't helping). No one else is getting 30 more points out of this side. Take our medicine and put a process in place for promotion in 2 years with a strong PL ready squad.

    Interestingly, Marc Cucurella has borne the brunt of boos and jeers from the travelling Brentford support.

    So, it just had to be him who popped up with the opening goal of the match just before half-time.

    Chelsea have been given a lot of chances to cross by Brentford today and, to the credit of manager Enzo Maresca and his coaching staff, they have put together a tactical plan where Cucurella makes these runs into the box.

    The Spain international has done it all game and reaped his rewards.
