  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 12 August

    Blackburn 1-2 Bradford

Augustus Kargbo, the Sierra Leone forward, is on for Axel Henricksson, with Sondre Tronstad also making way for Ryan Alebiosu.

The hosts have enjoyed the better of the half, but still trail to their League One visitors with 30 minutes to go.

Todd Cantwell is also coming on for his first action of the season after a thigh strain, with debutant Igor Tyjon being withdrawn.

  2. CLOSE!published at 21:06 British Summer Time 12 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Hull

Wrexham have been much the better side since the restart and Harry Ashfield curls inches wide from 20 yards after a lovely bit of skill to open up space for a shot.

  3. Home Park in party moodpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 12 August

    Plymouth Argyle 2-2 QPR

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

Having booed their side off at half-time Argyle's fans are now in party mood after those two quick goals.

And Argyle boss Tom Cleverley thinks he can win the game - he's made two attacking changes as Caleb Watts and Bali Mumba have come on.

This has been a really entertaining game - perhaps Argyle are the favourites now with a much stronger bench to draw upon than QPR.

  4. Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 12 August

    Bromley 1-0 Ipswich

We are back up and running in the 8pm kick-off where Ipswich presumably have some strong words ringing in their ears.

  5. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 12 August

    Cardiff 2-1 Swindon

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

    Remember the name: Princewill Ehibhatiomhan!

The Southampton loanee has been Swindon's best player tonight.

Ehibhatiomhan almost scored a brilliant equaliser in the first half, dancing his way past three Cardiff defenders before dragging his shot wide.

Now the 19-year-old forward has his goal after a cool finish to halve Swindon's deficit.

    Game on.

On his 100th appearance for Coventry City...

Haji Wright's cross-shot to the far post finds Ellis Simms and he isn't going to miss from there.

His 27th goal in a Sky Blue shirt as he brings up the century of appearances tonight.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 12 August

    Stoke 0-0 Walsall

That's the closest we've come to a goal and it's Stoke who are the width of the crossbar from going in front.

Robert Bozenik nods the ball into the path of Jamie Donley who controls well before thumping his effort against the bar.

  8. goal

GOAL: Plymouth 2-2 QPRpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 12 August

    Owen Oseni (54 mins)

    What a comeback...

Ayman Benarous does well to drive forward down the left and whip in a cross where Owen Oseni is on hand at the far post to fire home with the outside of his boot for his first Argyle goal.

Not sure that will be the end of the scoring either...

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 12 August

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Doncaster

Like many 39-year-olds this evening, Billy Sharp is off for a sit down in comfy chair and a nice drink.

Unlike the man on the street, he has however played 70 excellent minutes and helped his side to the brink of the second round with the first 'cupset' of the season.

    Joe Ironside is his replacement.

  10. CLOSE!published at 20:58 British Summer Time 12 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Hull

Got to score that! Wrexham waste a great chance as Ryan Longman whips in a cross and Ryan Hardie heads wide from about five yards out.

Massive chance for the former Plymouth striker.

  11. Postpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 12 August

    Northampton 0-1 Southampton

Ross Fitzsimons has to come racing off his line to prevent Shea Charles having a clear run at goal.

Northampton need to weather this storm.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:56 British Summer Time 12 August

    West Brom 0-0 Derby

Lovely effort! A cross from the West Brom right is nodded out, Callum Styles watches it all the way and crunches in a left-footed volley that is dipping into the far corner until Josh Vickers moves well to get down and save.

  13. goal

GOAL: Plymouth 1-2 QPRpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 12 August

    Brendan Wiredu (49 mins)

The perfect start to the half for Tom Cleverley and Plymouth.

Brendan Wiredu heads his first goal for the Pilgrims after Tegan Finn's deep corner is returned to the middle, despite a hint of offside, and the Greens are back in the tie.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 12 August

    Northampton 0-1 Southampton

Southampton are all over this now.

Ben Brereton Diaz guides an effort just wide before Yuki Sugawara has a pop from distance and watches his effort cannon back off the post.

    Northampton are wobbling.

  15. Postpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 12 August

    West Brom 0-0 Derby

West Brom are pressing so high, Derby can't get out from their own penalty area. They do well in the end to just about scramble clear.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:52 British Summer Time 12 August

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Doncaster

Boro might have the big-guns on but it's Doncaster pushing for a third with Sean Grehan flashing a free-header narrowly past Tom Glover's left-hand post from a corner.

Down the other end Hayden Hackney saw a shot blocked before Law McCabe arrowed a stooping volley just over Ian Lawlor's bar from 20 yards after his initial strike was blocked back to him.

  17. Elsewhere in the EFL Cuppublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 12 August

The man on loan from Stoke, Nathan Lowe has doubled Stockport's lead over Crewe to make it 2-0 at Edgeley Park.

And Ryan Leonard has put Millwall ahead at Newport.

  18. goal

GOAL: Northampton 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 12 August

    Mateus Fernandes (48 mins)

    We're off and running...

A sweeping Southampton move finds Mateus Fernandes on the overlap, he checks inside and hammers a shot into the roof of the net.

He'd already had one cleared off the line in the first period but now he has his reward.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 12 August

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Doncaster

Saturday's match-winner Dael Fry, Hayden Hackney and Aidan Morris are on for Boro, with Rob Edwards turning to his big-guns to try to get back into this tie.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 12 August

And that's the whistle. Cup shock o'clock.
