Northampton 0-0 Southampton
So close for Northampton.
Alex McCarthy makes a mess of collecting a cross and it drops at the feet of Jordan Willis just six yards out but Taylor Harwood-Bellis blocks his effort on the line.

Middlesbrough 0-2 Doncaster
The Boro fans are letting their team hear how angry they area.
It's all Doncaster, Jordan Gibson has been everywhere and should really have made it three, ghosting in at the far post to meet Billy Sharp's deep cross but sending his header wide with Tom Glover flailing.
Gibson has also seen a fierce strike blocked after cutting inside from the left onto his right foot and Alfie Jones was grateful to see appeals for a handball in the Boro box waved away.
4-0 wouldn't flatter Rovers, and we're 32 minutes in.

Rovers skipper Sondre Tronstad is beaten down the Bantams right by the lively George Lapslie and hauls down his man near the corner flag, earning himself a yellow card.

Northampton 0-0 Southampton
A decent free-kick opportunity on the edge of the Southampton box.
Dean Campbell lines it up for the home side - his first effort is blocked by the wall and the follow up takes a deflection into the welcoming hands of Alex McCarthy.
The Cobblers have two good sights of goal in the opening stages.

Plymouth 0-0 QPR
Bright start from the Pilgrims with Joe Hatch firing over the bar and then 17-year-old tegan Finn jinking his way forward, earning a free-kick, which Jamie Paterson also sends over the target.

Wrexham 0-0 Hull
Ohhh how has that stayed out?! Hull are so close to the opener as Ryan Giles whips in a dreamy free-kick from the left, Oli McBurnie gets ahead of his man to meet it on the stretch but his header kisses the outside of the post on its way wide.

Damola Ajayi (23 mins)
They probably deserve it, too.
Some slick approach play from the visitors once again, Jordan Gibson stands up a cross from the left and it breaks to the unmarked Damola Ajayi, on loan from Spurs, who lashes in a first-time shot which deflects past the unfortunate Tom Glover once again.
You'd never know which was the lower division team who had made 11 changes, if truth be told.

West Brom 0-0 Derby
West Brom have made a bright start, playing the ball confidently around the area before a powerful header from Ousmane Diakite is well held by Josh Vickers in the Rams goal.

An early warning for the Championship visitors as Cameron McGeehan bursts through the middle for the home side and Alex McCarthy has to make a sharp save.

Will Swan (4 mins)
Nightmare for teenage debutant keeper Nick Michalski.
Having signed a new long term deal today, he's way out of his area to control a loose ball but is closed down quickly by Tyreik Wright who pokes the ball to Will Swan to stride forward and roll into the unguarded net with the England under-18s keeper floundering on the turf behind him.

Ibou Touray (2 mins)

Stunner.
Roberto Carlos, on his best day, would have loved to run-on to a curling deep cross to the back stick and unleash a first-time volley into the bottom corner as Ibou Touray has just done for his first Bantams goal.
A perfect start for the League One Bantams and Rovers fans are grumbling after barely 90 seconds.

Blackburn 0-0 Bradford
Valerien Ismael has changed eight of the Rovers side which
went down 1-0 at West Brom in their Championship opener, with in-demand Sondre
Tronstad retained and named captain. There’s a first senior start in goal for
Nick Michalski.
Graham Alexander has also made six changes from Bradford’s
stalemate at Northampton, though the half-dozen to drop out are all among the
Bantams subs tonight.
