Truro City's poor form continued as they lost 2-1 at Bath City in National League South.

Bath had the better of the early chances before former Truro striker Cody Cooke put the hosts ahead with a 27th-minute penalty as Tyler Harvey missed a couple of first-half chances.

Bath made it 2-0 thanks to Tom Smith's close-range finish while Elliot Frear had a third disallowed for offside.

Conor Riley-Lowe got a goal back in the second minute of stoppage time.

The City skipper was quickest to react to a loose ball in the box, while Ed Palmer shot over as Truro searched for a late equaliser.

The loss - Truro's sixth game without a win - means they remain in 19th place in National League South while Bath move up to fourth place.
