Jersey Bulls beat Sheerwater 2-1 to consolidate third place in Combined Counties Premier South.

Adam Trotter went close in the first minute for Bulls before Miguel Carvalho put the islanders ahead soon after.

Trotter got a second after 33 minutes with a cool finish, but George Mackie blasted in a superb effort for the hosts just before the break.

Bulls' Francis Lekimamati hit the bar midway through the second half while Carvalho went close late on.

The win at second-from-bottom Sheerwater was Bulls' second successive victory.
