The pink pavilion dominates the Eisteddfod maes
The National Eisteddfod is the largest cultural event of its kind in Europe. It takes place annually during the first week of August and this year was held in Llanelli between 2-9 August.

Radio and Television
BBC Cymru Wales' live coverage from the Eisteddfod was available on S4C, dolen allanol with English language subtitles. Radio Wales also broadcasted daily from the Eisteddfod, while Wales Today reported from the Maes every evening at 6.30pm on BBC One Wales.
