Josh Hinds played for Hull City twice in the 2021-22 season, coming on as a substitute against Bournemouth in the Championship and Everton in the FA Cup
Truro City have signed striker Josh Hinds until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old joins the National League South club having left Scottish Championship side Queen's Park.
Hinds, who began his career at West Ham, joined Hull City's academy in 2019 and played two first-team games before being released by the club last summer.
The White Tigers have been in the market for a striker in recent weeks amid 30-year-old Andrew Neal's struggles with injury.
Truro are one place above the relegation zone on goal difference though they have at least three - and up to seven - games in hand on all the other teams in the league.
