Truro City lose 2-0 to Hemel Hempstead in National League South

Truro City's three-game unbeaten run was ended by a 2-0 loss to Hemel Hempstead in National League South at their temporary Gloucester home.

Andrew Neal and Ryan Law has good early chances for the White Tigers before Hemel took the lead as Josh Hill headed home a 37th-minute free-kick.

George Williams put away Aidan Elliott-Wheeler's cross 11 minutes after the break before missing a good chance.

Tyler Harvey spurned two late chances for Truro as they fell to a loss.

Both sides ended with 10 men after Truro's Tom Harrison and Elliott-Wheeler were sent off after a stoppage-time coming together.

The defeat sees Truro drop to 18th place in National League South as Hemel move up to 16th place.

The Cornish side are still six points above the relegation places and have at least three games in hand on most of the sides below them.
